Hi I'm Todd Mass. With fishing experience of more than 15 years, DirtyTail Fishing was born out of the desire to share with other fellow Texans and other anglers around the world just how addicting fishing on the Gulf Coast and inside Texas' bay areas can be. 

DirtyTail Fishing catches all my outdoor adventures in and beyond the waters of the Texas coast from saltwater kayak fishing to fly fly fishing. See where I go, what gear I use, latest catches, and my efforts to give back to my local community through events like Warrior's Weekend, the Texas General Land Office's Adopt-A-Beach program, and more. Every now and then I might also throw in a fresh fish recipe or two for those who are interested in cooking up a meal worth talking about.

DirtyTail Fishing's mission is all about becoming a better fisherman, learning and researching the Gulf Coast's fish and characteristics, and most importantly having fun doing it all. If that's you're goal too, you've found the right spot. Aside from sharing my experiences on the water, you'll be getting the reel deal when it comes to my opinions in: gear, equipment, tackle, and products from fishing companies.

When I'm not on the water, I'm either building custom fishing rods, tying custom flies, looking for my next spot to explore on the water or spending time with family.
